My compassionate way of doing business aims to prevent and minimize your pet's fear and stress while under my care while maximizing their joy. I am a certified R+ dog trainer (VSA-CDT), a am a Fear-Free professional and pet CPR & First-Aid trained.
Service Hours
My hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm for all services.
Any services needed after hours, including weekends, will depend on availability and have a $10 'After Hours' fee.

Meet the Owner
Hi, I'm Kyra! I gave Splendid K9s it's humble beginning in 2019, but it started taking shape long before then. I just didn't know it yet.
I grew up on a hobby farm caring for a yellow lab named Lena, a collection of indoor/ outdoor cats and small critters, goats who wandered into the kitchen hoping for saltine crackers and chickens who had names. A decade later when my dog, Freya, joined me as a steadfast sidekick I discovered a passion for canine cognition and behavior. Three years later, our rescue husky (Odin) turned our family of three into four, and I started walking neighborhood dogs as a hobby while getting certified as a positive-reinforcement dog trainer.
Walking dogs lit up my life, so I got insured, ordered some business cards and figured out how to build a website. I've been fortunate to have the BEST clients grace me with the company of their best friends.
After several years working with training clients I'm thrilled to return Splendid K9s back to its roots as a dog walking and pet care business. I look forward to helping you discover the magic of a positively happy pet!
